Group Dog Training Class
The Basic Manners Dog Training Class is a 6-week course aimed at fostering a productive relationship between you and your dog. In this class, both of you will learn essential commands such as ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, and effective leash walking.
Moreover, the course provides valuable insights into understanding your dog’s motivations and communicative signals. You’ll discover how to communicate effectively with your pet in a way they understand and learn to interpret their signals to fulfill their needs.
In our dog training classes, we acknowledge the importance of both ends of the leash. We invite you to join us and learn how to form an efficient and cooperative team with your dog.

Who Can Attend Dog Training Class?
Do you have more than one dog? Please ensure each one is registered separately, and plan for each dog to have a separate adult handler to guide them throughout the class.
Please note that this class is designed for non-aggressive dogs. If your dog has displayed any signs of aggression, we kindly request that you inform us in advance.
While we appreciate the enthusiasm of young animal lovers, we request only children aged 12 years and older to attend the classes. For children aged 11 and under, we kindly ask that they stay at home for these sessions.

Learn About Your Dog Trainer
Jennifer Shearer is a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) who specializes in assisting shy, nervous, and reactive dogs, which is to say, dogs with big feelings. Her journey into dog training began when she rescued her own reactive dog, Della Rae. She leverages her 15 years of experience in teaching dance to people of all ages to foster a holistic approach to family training and growth.
Pay What you Can
Our dog training lessons are designed to be affordable, with a pay-what-you-can system in place. You can attend dog training class for free upon request. If you are able to contribute more, we encourage you to pay it forward. You’ll be asked after sign-up how much you’d like to pay. We appreciate your choice to support our mission and look forward to serving you and your furry friend. Thank you!
