CCPS Mental Health Fair

On May 2nd, 2023, from 5:30-8pm, Wag Workshops participated in the Calvert County Public Schools Mental Health Fair, to support our mission of preventing animal cruelty by promoting humane education services in Southern Maryland communities.

We engaged with students, teachers, and parents to raise awareness about the important role that animal welfare plays in mental health. By promoting humane education, we can foster a greater sense of empathy and compassion towards animals, which in turn can have a positive impact on our mental health and wellbeing.

Attending the Calvert County Public Schools Mental Health Fair was excellent opportunity for us to showcase our mission and connect with the community. We enjoyed sharing our message and working towards creating a more compassionate and mentally healthy society.
